Axis Ductwork offer the complete range of services to the supply, installation and cleaning of ventilation ductwork products

Over the last decade we have provided complete airside packages to some of the most prominent mechanical and engineering contractors in the country.

Our surveying, estimating, planning and purchasing departments are all located in our office in South East London. The company’s daily operations are run from here, while each project is handled on site by its respective project manager, site supervisor and site team, flexibly responding to demands of the project .

Our management team has a wealth of experience within the ductwork industry, with the senior staff having amassed over a 100 years of combined experience in handling major flagship projects.

All of our project managers are SMSTS certified, while our site supervisors are trained to a minimum of SSSTS level. Quality assurance is essential to the delivery of each indi- vidual project, and by ensuring our management are up to date with any changes in regulations and improved modes of practice, we can continue to install ductwork of the highest quality on the safest of sites.

Axis Ductwork complements the senior site teams with highly skilled, trusted installation teams that have worked in partnership with us on many projects over many years.

Every one of our installation teams are fully versed in all relevant plant and machinery training and we ensure that all sub-contractors hold valid SkillCards under the CSCS scheme, our supervisors have the minimum of SSSTS certification and are first aid trained.

We safeguard our sites and workforce by ensuring that all health and safety elements are considered from top to bottom of each project and its entire lifecycle. Axis Ductwork prides itself on its high standards of installation, exemplary health and safety record and innovative approach to new technology.

Axis Ductwork Limited is dedicated to on site diligence and continuous improvement of
our practise. We are a fully fledged member of the Achilles and constructionline scheme. In addition to this we are also CHAS and Safecontractor accredited and we regularly commission third party audits of sites to ensure where we can improve, we do.

Corporate Social Responsibility

At Axis Ductwork Limited we actively support several local projects close to our heart. We have played a role in building the physiotherapy centre on the Freddie Farmer foundation, on behalf of children with cerebral palsy. We regularly participate in and donate to fundraising walks, runs and sport event as well as recently becoming a con- tinued sponsor of Footscray Lions JFC.

Training and Development

In 2016, Axis Ductwork Limited embarked on its first ever apprenticeship scheme after observing a worrying industry-wide shortage of entry-level operatives, specifically a lack of ductwork assistants. By investing heavily in this apprenticeship scheme, Axis is helping to secure its future and assisting in tackling the industry shortage. It is through schemes like these we will safeguard the level of service we provide. Axis Ductwork considers these apprentices an integral part of our company’s future, and essential to the future of the industry.

In addition to this, we invest in continuous improvement, with our managers holding all relevant qualifications ranging from NVQs., IPAF, PASMA , to SSSTS, IOSH and SMSTS.

We recognise that it is essential that our workforce receives a balanced education, on – site and at college. All apprentices have day release at South Thames College.
